Marking the upcoming publication of Patrick Yim’s new CD, One — New Music for Unaccompanied Violin, I was invited to present my work and to talk about composer-performer collaborations at the University of Notre Dame’s Music Department yesterday. This was followed by a fantastic performance by Patrick of selections from the album, and a very interesting discussion and Q&A moderated by composer David Bird, Professor of Music Technology and Digital Media.
